If you were to look up the intelligence of a Pit Bull on any search engine, do you know what you would find? You would not find any real Pit Bull information. Most people who hate Pit Bull’s do not even recognize the Pit Bull breed as a real breed. I understand that the term Pit Bull covers three breeds, linked to the variety of Pit Bulls out there. That includes, the American Pit Bull Terrier, The Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Stafforshire Bull Terrier, but seeing as people want to refer them all as a Pit Bull, then that is how we will have to convince them. First and foremost, people have to understand, that the Pit Bull is not a breed, but a term for the representation of the breeds, so that’s why when you look up the intelligence of the Pit Bull, you wont find anything. Now to the intelligence, is you have to understand, that if you ask a person who doesn’t like Pit Bulls, then they will tell you that the dogs are nothing but brutes, hungry for blood. Anyone who has owned a Pit Bull, will tell you otherwise. They will tell you of the real Pit Bull. They will tell you, they are undoubtedly, the most affectionate dog they have ever owned. If not, then they did a poor job of raising it. The real Pit Bull in general is a very intelligent animal. Anyone who has one will agree, unless they did not take the time to train them. The only thing about a Pit Bull, is that they have tendencies to be stubborn, which is why most people will say they have no brain. Some people just simply do not have the patience to understand, what the dog is doing, and why it is doing, what it is doing. When your dog has these stubborn tendencies, it is very easy to break that barrier. All you have to do is play around, and simply make the dog think of training as a game. It’s simple, all you have to do is trick them out of their stubbornness. Since they have a playful nature as well, you will get playfulness over the stubbornness, and in result will have very productive training sessions. This is the real Pit Bull, but hopefully you can figure this out for yourself, through one on one contact with a Pit Bull. I hope this information has helped.
